Network Structure
Maine Farm & Sea to Institution (MEFTI) is a collaborative network composed of values-aligned members, focused working groups, and a guiding leadership team. Coordination and fiscal sponsorship is provided by Healthy Communities of the Capital Area (HCCA)
How MEFTI is structured:
HCCA Food Systems Coordinators manage MEFTI’s day-to-day operations, including fundraising, event planning, communications, and project management.
The Leadership Team meets bi-monthly to guide the implementation of MEFTI’s strategic plan.
Contractors are engaged as needed to support specific projects and initiatives.
Who We Are:
MEFTI network members include individuals who participate in meetings, trainings, and annual summits, as well as those who subscribe to MEFTI’s mailing lists to stay informed and engaged.
